Service and reputation are of paramount importance to us, we find it natural to ensure that those who make contact with us enjoy discussing their new, old or future Red Rocks. We are interested in those who show interest in us. We operate in a less traditional manner, with the same mind-set as an indie band who feels like they have to earn their stripes in order to gain a real following. Our upcoming interstate road-shows to meet customers will begin soon, as we remain independent of stores in an effort to save store mark ups and remain affordable. We are not seeking immediate success, we are seeking true success and we are collecting special family members as we go.
We treat every drum that leaves us as one that could (and has on so many occasions) end up in the hands of the discerning and the spectacular. We would not hesitate in giving any of our drums to anyone in the world, we consider them to all to be our best work. Many drum companies state they are constantly developing specific features of their drums and we are no different. We respect that we have good global competition, however we trust that those considering Red Rock Drums are buying more than just our great sound.
Opportunities…
There are opportunities for those who join the Red Rock family to be showcased in our upcoming interstate road-shows, online videos and social media. Sheer skill is not necessarily our priority here though. Personality and creativity are amongst the attributes we look for when choosing ambassadors who represent us to our wonderful and ever growing community.
Endorsements…
We do wish to be clear when it comes to endorsements as it is a hot topic, especially with young drummers.
We are currently working with several special artists who are involved in unique projects. We give a lot of consideration to their profiles and enjoy discussing how we will work together to help each other. Don’t believe the myth that an endorsement is a good way to score free or discounted equipment as it is so much more than that, besides at this stage there is nothing going for free anyway.
Choosing an artist to work with is a very personal thing for us. We should see the excitement in your eye about the drums, hear the passion and skill in your playing, know you are involved in fantastic networks of musicians/scenes and see that they you are taking great steps to establish yourself through regular local, national or maybe international touring as well as recordings, airplay, press and an excellent web presence.
But most of all you should be someone who we feel would fit into the Red Rock family. We have big plans here and are very committed to building a special team for the right reasons.
