JASON SBRIGLIO
Session and Touring Drummer
Jason Sbriglio is currently performing to sell-out venues with Australian live favourite tribute show Gold Chisel. During his down time he trades his rock boots and arena fills for the intricate ostinatos and tempo, meter and feel changes that are this year to be revealed in his upcoming solo project.
Jason’s recent main stage performances include the Royal Melbourne Show, Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island, AUDI Week on Geelong’s foreshore and various interstate festivals. During session gigs for original artists he has supported Ross Wilson, Mark Seymour, Spiderbait and Xavier Rudd at venues including the Corner Hotel and many other infamous music institutions in Melbourne and around the country.
When not performing, he teaches dedicated drum kit students of all ages.
Jason is the author of ‘A Guide to Understanding Rhythm and Time’ and holds a Bachelor of Music and a Diploma of Education.
