Sugar Gum (Eucalyptus cladocalyx) is a species of eucalypt tree native to the state of South Australia. This timber features subtle fiddleback feature over prominent rings, that are book matched over two boards. At approximately 1105kg/m3 density and is considered a very hard timber.

Purchase this drum for mid to high range tunings. Tuned at its lowest, we expect this snare can produce a big meaty punch with a pure underlying pitch particularly with dampening assistance. As the drum is tuned up, we expect it will retain its great body with the addition of a throaty crack and musical ping.
