River Redgum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) is among the most iconic of Australia's eucalypts trees, widespread along rivers and floodplains across Australia. This specific timber features great fiddleback grain, and a spectacular texture like scudding clouds. Its density is approx. 900kg/m3 and is considered quite a hard timber.

Due to its scarcity, this timber will only be used for externals on Hybrids, select this timber for your next drum if you seek a unique example of an iconic Australian timber, especially rare given its figured feature. The internal wood you select will ultimately contribute most prominently to the tone of the drum.
